Install VPN Software

The VPN software allows your computer to be on our in office network while being remote.  This is mostly important for items that locked down like Genetec access.  

Duo Mobile is required to be installed and setup on your phone.  If you do not have it setup, please create a ticket, including your phone number, and our MSP will contact you to set it up.

1. Install the latest VPN software.  https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn
2. Press three bars and choose “Add New Connection”
3. Enter specific connection info.
   1. Connection Name:  NWCC
   2. Description (optional):  Wexford Fortigate
   3. Remote gateway:  vpn.nwcc.org
   4. Customize Port:  check box and enter 4444
   5. Client Certificate:  None
   6. Authentication:  Save Login
   7. Username:  your network username ( the part of your email before @northway.org )
4. Press Save
