Brother Label Printer Maintenance & Troubleshooting 101
We are deploying new Brother QL-820NWB label printers to campuses. Here are some troubleshooting tips for some situations we've experienced. This page will continue to be updated as we encounter additional situations.
About Brother QL-820NWB label printers
These printers are wireless printers and only need a power outlet. The printers connect to the North Way Mobile wireless network and are configured for the specific campus it is located at. Feel free to move the physical location of the printer as you need to.
Troubleshooting
Error “Roll Paper Cannot Be Fed. Set the roll correctly”
The label paper is smooth and slippery. Sometimes if the printer is moved or bumped excessively the paper can slide.
1. Open and close lid forcing printer to re-check the paper status.
2. Open the lid and verify the entire paper roll ( including the roll holder ) is set securely. You can gently lift the roll holder and place back in to re-set the paper roll.
3. Verify the label paper is fed through the front of machine to at least to the line.
