Voicemail Greeting Setup
With the Zoom phone provider, there are several options for setting up voicemail greetings.
- Typing a message to be spoken by an automated system
- Uploading a pre-recorded audio file
- Recording a new audio file
You may access these options in your Zoom profile under the Phone menu option.

Under the “Greeting & Leave voicemail instruction” choose Edit => Add Audio
Typing a message to be spoken by an automated system.
- Give your recording a name.
- Choose a category. These are used to better organize multiple voicemail instructions
- Choose a language and voice that will speak the message.
- Enter a message you want read by the automated system.
- Once a message is entered, you can play back the audio and try different voices to find the one you like.
- Press add and your new message will be set as the current voicemail instruction
Upload a pre-recorded audio file
- Give your recording a name.
- Choose a category. These are used to better organize multiple voicemail instructions
- Choose a language and voice that will speak the message.
- Press Upload and choose the MP3 or WAV file you want to use.
- Press Add

- Choose a language and voice that will speak the message.
- Press the red record icon and record you personal voicemail instruction. NOTE: permissions might need to be setup to allow the browser to use your computers microphone.
- Press Add
