Setting Pastor On Call

Step 1: Update the Call Queue Member List

Our Zoom Phone manages the routing of calls for the Pastor On Call ( POC ).  This is done using call queues and changing the POC is a very simple process.  Only users given administrative rights to the call queue can make changes.

1.  Log Into Zoom on your internet browser (do NOT use the desktop app)

2.  In the left navigation, choose Phone Management => Call Queues

3.  Choose the "Pastor On Call" entry.

4.  Choose “View or Edit” next to the members line

5.  Once in the members view or edit section, click the “Add” button (at the top left of the page) and type in the new POC name to search for and add that person to the call queue. Then click ‘ok’. It should take you back to the same view at which you have two names listed in the member list.

6.  Identify the previous/old POC and click the “…” to the far right of the row of the POC that needs to be removed and select “Remove”

The POC call queue is now updated and the new POC will receive any calls into the queue.

Step 2: Update Call Queue Voicemail

1. go back to the ‘Pastor on Call’ queue, and click on the ‘Policy’ tab that's one tab to the right of the profile tab you just worked in. Within that ‘Policy’ tab, locate the Voicemail section and click on ‘Access Member List’.

2. Once you click on ‘Access Member List', there will be a pop up wherein you can click the blue ‘add member’ button.

3. Once you click ‘add member’ there will be another pop-up where you can search and select the current POC. Then click save.

4. You'll be back at the ‘add member’ popup where you then need to identify the previous/old POC in the member list and click the “…” to the far right of the row and select “Remove”. ALWAYS KEEP DARREN ON THERE, only swap out the pastor on call.

The POC call queue voicemail is now updated so that the new POC will have access to any voicemails received.
