Outlook Room Reservations
We have implemented a custom MP integration that will sync MP events with Outlook. This will allow you now to make certain room reservations from within Outlook. This ability will be for only specific rooms and also has some limitations listed below.

Wexford
- Bridge Room ( Wexford-Bridge-Room@northway.org )
- CMT Conference Room ( Wexford-CMT-Conference-Room@northway.org )
- Cornerstone Room ( Wexford-Cornerstone-Room@northway.org )
- Trinity Room ( Wexford-Trinity-Room@northway.org )
- Business Ops Room ( Wexford-Business-Ops-Room@northway.org )
Outlook Limitations
- No room setup. If room setup is needed, please create an MP event
- 12 hour max meeting time limit
- 180 days max for future meetings If longer is required, create event in MP
- Recurring meetings are accepted but only to the 180 day limit. If longer needed, create event in MP
Privacy
Depending on the room booked, the meeting name may be publicly viewable via digital signage outside the room. These signs will display meeting names and times for anyone to see. Private meetings will be named “Private Meeting by {Your Name}” Your Outlook or MP reservation will retain its original title.
To make a meeting private, you have two options.
A. Outlook
- Choose the Private option in your Outlook Meeting reservation. This icon looks like a lock.
B. Ministry Platform
- Set the event's visibility level to Private
How to see if a room is available
1. Create a new meeting request
2. Click the Scheduling Assistant
3. Under the Room Resource, enter the room's email address.
4. The rooms availability will be displayed.
How to use Outlook to reserve a room
In your new meeting request
1a. Add the rooms email address ( listed above ) as a required attendee
1b. Choose the location button and select the room from the list
2. Set up the rest of your meeting information and Send
3. The room will respond accepting or denying the meeting. If the meeting request is denied, then you have NOT reserved the room.
